About us

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We are a global movement of people, churches and local organisations who passionately champion dignity, equality, justice and love worldwide. We are the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart.

Greenbelt Festival is a key event in Christian Aid’s calendar. It enables us to get our message across to festival-goers who (like us) are passionate about putting their faith into action to challenge global poverty. Greenbelt is taking place 26-29 August 2022.

About the role

As a volunteer with Christian Aid at Greenbelt festival you will be part of a team and make a practical contribution to Christian Aid’s work. You’ll be engaging with festival-goers and getting our message across – and in between shifts you’ll also get some time to enjoy the festival. You will be part of the team communicating Christian Aid’s work to festival goers, in our ‘hub’ and around the festival site – inspiring them to take action through Giving, Acting and Praying for Christian Aid.

About you

Do you enjoy speaking to people? Can you enthuse and inspire others with a smile on your face - even when it’s raining, you’ve dropped your biscuit in the mud and your wellies are leaking? Fundraising, campaigning or sales experience and a good knowledge of Christian Aid would help, but full training will be provided. If you are friendly, reliable, and want to make the world a better place then we want to hear from you.

Further Information

You will need to be 18+ to volunteer at the festival.

You must be available on site at the festival from 10am on Friday 26 August and stay for the duration, until afternoon/evening of Monday 29 August.

Free entry and camping pitch to Greenbelt festival will be provided – you’ll need to bring your own tent. You will also be supplied with meal vouchers. Travel expenses to and from the site will be reimbursed as well (to a maximum of £50).
