Greenbelt Festival 2024 - Social Media Volunteer

Volunteers in their own words.

Hear some of our past and current volunteers talk about why they chose to give time to Christian Aid.

About Christian Aid at Greenbelt Festival

Greenbelt festival is '...somewhere artistry meets activism, where the political meets the practical'.  For the past 30+ years, Christian Aid has been in partnership with the festival, bringing campaigning, discussion, challenge, and engagement to the festival fields.

Join us at the beautiful Boughton House grounds near Kettering for a weekend of music, comedy, talks, worship and much more!

About the role

We love to share stories of what we're up to throughout the festival weekend across our social media channels.

Planning and creating engaging content about our activities, and the festival, the social media volunteers will have autonomy and creative control over social media comms throughout the weekend.  Representing Christian Aid at press conferences, and through interviews with festival artists and performers, you will gather content for broadcast throughout the festival weekend and beyond.

About you

With experience in creating engaging content, tailored to different social media channels, you will have the creativity to create a comms plan for the weekend, and the technical skills to put your plan into action.

With great communication skills and high levels of professionalism, you will be an excellent ambassador for Christian Aid and our work.

Able to thrive in a faith-based festival environment, you will bring your own camping equipment (or stay off-site, at your own cost), and be available for the whole duration of the Festival 22nd - 25th August (August Bank Holiday Weekend).

Volunteers must be 18+ on the day you arrive at the festival.
Recruitment for this role is on an ongoing basis, and once an adequate number of spaces are filled, the role will close, so don't delay in submitting your application!
