About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person for the position of Driver for our Bukavu office in the South Kivu.

The Driver will be responsible for welcoming or accompanying visitors to the port, airport, driving project staff to the field, carrying out certain service errands according to the needs of the office, ensuring vehicle maintenance, checking the oil and diesel levels, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, ensuring that the first aid kit is in place & maintaining the mileage logbook.

If you have a passion for the road and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! You should possess a valid driver's license, knowledge of roads and terrain in DRC and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Relationships

External : The incumbent will be expected to work closely with project participants and their communities, local authorities, state and parastatal institutions, NGOs and INGOs. 

Internal : Work closely with the Procurement Logistics Officer, Finance Officer and Senior Programme Officer, the broader project team, the DRC Country Team, humanitarian colleagues and field volunteers.
