About us

Christian Aid is a UK-based charity that works globally to eradicate poverty and promote social justice. We are committed to supporting communities in need and advocating for change. About the role

As a Social Media Volunteer, you will work closely with our Digital and Campaigns Team. Your role will focus on generating creative ideas and producing engaging social media content to document the Greenbelt Festival located in Kettering, North Northamptonshire. 

Your work on platforms like Instagram and TikTok will help bring our vision to life and resonate with our young adult Christian audience. Your contributions will play a crucial role in amplifying Christian Aid’s key messages and fostering interest and engagement with our content. 

About you

To succeed in this role, you should be confident speaking on camera and have experience using Canva and video editing software. You should be driven, self-motivated, and creative, with the ability to generate content ideas in line with our social media strategy. You should be aligned with Christian Aid’s values of dignity, equality, justice, and love, and committed to decolonization. You should be comfortable producing faith-based Christian content and have a good working knowledge of our audience (young adult Christians aged 18-30). Access to a phone with a high-quality camera is essential.

Important information: All of our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK and requires applicants to have a visa that allows them to volunteer in the UK. All our volunteers must be 18 or over.
