If you are applying for a role on a secondment basis, please seek approval from your line manager. If this role is offered as a secondment and the post is a higher pay band, you will receive the salary as advertised. You will receive this salary for the period of the secondment and then revert to your substantive salary. If this secondment is on a lower salary than your current salary, you will retain your current salary for the period of the secondment. You will not have your salary reduced.
